Catch-up Blog 4: Concept to plans… (2016-2018)

The house design has gone through many iterations from our original concept, with support from Alex and Pat we have been guided into a far more practical design, with some beautiful feature’s courtesy of our collaboration with them both, but still reflecting the essence of our original brief, our vision... 

The building site and matters of cost also drove some of the changes from our end, so in the end a mixture of practical and aesthetic considerations drove our final design.
